I am sure that you understand, as you said that during your stay, Malta was hit by extreme weather with wind force of up to 8 with heavy rain, that is why some water might have came through the window and not because the window is old, its a recently fitted double glazing aluminum window. We will also be investigating what might have caused the noise you are referring to, as this might be coming from an electric pump which needs attention. We do apologise about the heating, due to an unforeseen issue the setting of the system for heating was switched off, when we were alerted about this, our technician immediately fixed the issue. Kindly also note that the luggage room as you correctly said is in -1 floor and you could have used the elevator by pressing -1. We also do understand that waiting is frustrating sometimes but if everyone turns up at front desk at the same time, the front desk agent has to attend to each guest one after the other. You do understand that after checkout the rooms have to be thoroughly cleaned and then inspected for the next arrival, check in being at 14:00hrs. There's a luggage room but it is on the floor below down a very tight staircase and with no staff assistance. and sugar free options were very limited. presumably cooked for the opening hour but if you arrived an hour or two later it was not good. We were quite happy with the breakfast but disappointed that the hot food wasn't hot. We were here during perhaps exceptionally bad weather in December with very strong wind and rain.and both came in through a badly fitted old window, which wasn't great. Added to which we had days with no heating which we would have liked when the weather turned chilly in the evening. irritating noises emanating from above when trying to sleep which we took to be plumbing,/aircon/ heating relalted.
